The SPIM Junior Scientist 2016

9 junior scientists are selected and invited by the scientific committee for oral presentation. Travel and accommodation are supported by the Committee.

A €15,000 prize rewards the best oral presentation: the SPIM Junior Scientist 2016.

The Best SPIM poster 2016

All participants, junior researchers or not, can exhibit during the SPIM a poster presenting a particular topic related to research in skin physiology.

A €4,000 prize rewards the best poster presented by one participant of the congress, after a vote of all SPIM participants: the Best SPIM poster 2016.

Paper submission guidelines for the SPIM Junior Scientist 2016

Application forms must be

 Uploaded into the website via the submission form

The scientific file must include

  Scientific project: 10 pages
  Applicant’s curriculum vitae
Presentation of the Laboratory where the works have been carried out
  The most significant applicant’s publication(s)

The scientific project should include the most pertinent results, updated works and perspectives.
Papers cannot contain any commercial topic or research based on the promotion of active ingredients.

Paper submission must be done through this website before September 15th, 2016

The Scientific Committee will confidentially study all papers.

Among all files received, nine young researchers preparing a PhD or working in post-PhD will be nominated and invited to present their results during the 5th SPIM, which will take place in Vichy November 17th-18th, 2016.

During the SPIM

  Travel and accommodation for the 9 nominees are completely supported by the organising Committee.

  Nominees present their results to scientists and industrials coming from the dermatology and cosmetic worlds.

  At the end of the Congress, the Scientific Committee selects the winner and delivers the "Best SPIM Junior Scientist" Award with a grant of €15,000, during the latest session of November 18th.

 
 

Poster submission guidelines for the Best SPIM Poster 2016

Application forms must be uploaded into the website (via poster submission form) before October 31st, 2016. 

They must include

  Title of the poster
  Poster file in correct resolution

The scientific poster should include the most pertinent results and updated works.
The posters cannot contain any commercial topic or research based on the promotion of active ingredients.
Poster must be printed on tarp (80 cm wide and 120 cm long) with pintle hitch (4).

It is suggested to print copies in A4 format at participant's disposal, near the exhibited posters.

During the SPIM

  All posters presented will be displayed.
  Posters are evaluated by all participants: scientists and industrials coming from the dermatology and cosmetic worlds.
  All participants can vote for the best poster.
  At the end of this Congress (Meeting), the vote of all participants selects the winner and the Scientific Committee delivers the "Best SPIM Poster" Award with a grant of €4,000, during the latest session of November 18th.
